Pembury Estate Residents’ Association has been liaising with the Landscape Services Manager at Peabody for some time about improving the courtyard for the benefit of all residents.
The landscape team have agreed to replant the area and install a knee height rail to protect the plants. Below are pictures of the plants that the landscape team are likely to plant, subject to availability. They have been chosen for their differing flowering dates as well as the ability to thrive in a low light area.
We have been advised that work is likely to take place late November-March and will include having a temporary fence installed around the planted area fenced off to allow the new plants to settle.
