A staggering 95% of Pembury Estate residents are dissatisfied with the service provided by Peabody, a recent survey by the Pembury Estate Residents’ Association has shown.
Our research has found widespread dissatisfaction, with 90% of respondents feeling that Peabody does not listen to Pembury residents, and over 87% believing Peabody does not care about the estate or its residents.
Over 4 in 5 think that we, the residents, should have more control over the estate.
Our survey also found that 1 in 3 respondents did not know the name of their neighbourhood manager, and over two thirds did not know who to contact with problems about their homes or the estate.
The exact findings of our survey were:
- 95.1% dissatisfied with service provided by Peabody. Just 1.6% satisfied.
- 87.1% think Peabody doesn’t care about Pembury. 6.4% did think Peabody care.
- 88.7% think Peabody doesn’t care about them. Only 3.2% did think Peabody care.
- 90.3% think Peabody doesn’t listen to Pembury residents. Only 3.2% did think they listen.
- 83.8% think residents should have more control of Pembury. 4.8% don’t think this.
- 67.7% were able to name a Neighbourhood Manager. 32.3% were not able to.
- 67.7% don’t know who to contact with problems. 22.6% did know who to contact.
