Complaints Guide
The Residents’ Association has written a guide to Peabody’s complaints process, to held you prepare successful complaints.
Complaints Tracker
Add to the complaints tracker.
The Residents’ Association has created a complaints tracker that all residents can use to track complaints that might affect multiple residents. You can edit it below.
Fill in the details of the complaint in the blue columns. When you get responses from Peabody, fill in the dates and details of the response. The spreadsheet will tell you whether Peabody’s responses are overdue.
You can also download a blank copy for your personal use.
Contacting our MP
If you feel like Peabody is not listening to you or you are having ongoing issues you can ask our local Member of Parliament (MP) to help you by writing to the CEO of Peabody. This may help to resolve your issue.
You can also ask your MP for help with other problems, such as housing, immigration or benefits. They can be very helpful in getting issues resolved quickly, because they have better access to Government departments.
Advice surgeries
Our local MP is Meg Hillier. Meg holds regular advice surgeries at Hackney Town Hall.
You can check the date of her next advice surgery on her website (https://www.meghillier.com/advice-surgeries).
An advice surgery is for people to raise issues with their MP face-to-face. You do not need to book an appointment. You can just walk in on the day between 10am and 12pm.
Get help in writing
You can also write to Meg to ask her to help. Meg can only help people who are constituents, so if you write to her you must include your address. Someone from her office will write back to you.
